"From the introduction of the two main characters, Joe and Preston, in the first two short chapters of the book, I was hooked and couldn't wait until I discovered how these two lives would intersect. The Collectibles is a book that is hard to put down. I felt that I was a better person after reading it. It is truly inspirational. What a great first novel! I cannot wait for another from James J. Kaufman."
